You control the process and my role, as your counsellor, will be to facilitate and guide you. I will help you identify themes and patterns, ask pertinent questions and enable you to find a way forward.
The process is tailored to each individual, taking you through five key stages:
An assessment of your current situation, who you are and identify your values, skills and abilities
Identify what you want to do in the future, set your goals
Explore the different alternatives for achieving your goals
Assess what is stopping you from moving forward and then decide how to overcome them
Set a realistic plan for the short, medium and long term, including target and review dates
